ASK A PELVIC FLOOR PT

When to refer, what I treat, and how to work together.

What I Actually Do

Dr. Kris treats pelvic floor dysfunction tied to pregnancy and birth: incontinence, pelvic pain, diastasis recti, pain with periods, prep and recovery around delivery. She works alongside OBs, midwives, doulas, lactation consultants, and chiropractors, and wants to know what a patient's already tried before they land in her chair.

When to Refer to Me

Prenatal or postpartum pelvic floor dysfunction. Urinary/ fecal incontinence. Urinary urgency. Constipation. Pelvic pain: internal, w/ entry, sensitive to touch, low back pain, hip pain. Diastasis recti. Birth prep. Recovery postpartum. Endometriosis. Pain with periods.

What a Referral Conversation Sounds Like

Dr. Kris specializes in pelvic health surrounding birth, and can help with dysfunction such as pain or discomfort leading up to, and after delivery.

When Not to Refer to Me

Male pelvic health. Pediatric pelvic health.

How We Work Together

I have worked mainly with OBGYNs, midwives, doulas, lactation consultants, yoga/pilates instructors, and chiropractors when collaborating for a patient. Information that is helpful, is what is the patient already doing to address their issue, and what is stalling the patient's goals.

I provide services in-home or virtually. For in-home, patients need to live between North Hollywood, West LA, central LA, Downtown, South LA, Long Beach areas.
