ASK A RIE® ASSOCIATE

When to refer, what I treat, and how to work together.

What I Actually Do

Talisa isn't clinical. She teaches respect based parenting, helping adults understand babies and build real relationships with them, for families with kids 3 months to 2 years and for professionals who want that lens in their own work. She doesn't touch birth prep or pregnancy support, so she's actively looking to pass prenatal clients to the right providers and get newborn phase referrals back.

When to Refer to Me

- Families looking for respectful parenting guidance and care - Expecting families preparing for parenthood

- Infant/Toddler families looking for community and support

- Caregiving professionals looking for respect-based professional development

What a Referral Conversation Sounds Like

Talisa helps adults understand babies and build respect-based relationships with their little ones.

When not to Refer to Me

I'm not a therapist, so this is not clinical work, but rather child-development rooted guidance for families and professionals

How We Work Together

- Professionals working with prenatal clients: I especially love collaborating with this group because I do not offer birth prep, pregnancy support, etc (my focus is on helping people prepare for parenthood), so getting to refer my prenatal clients to accompanying services is wonderful (and I appreciate the referral for my prenatal classes as well)

- Professionals supporting the newborn phase: My parent-infant guidance classes are for families with babies 3 months to 2 years, so having a network I can refer my prenatal clients to for the newborn phase is helpful (and I appreciate the referral for my classes when the families are ready)

Contact me for collaboration!
